Hosting on its own is storage and computing power. The difference is in who looks after it. These services are part of operation with us.
Updates and security
We install security updates regularly, harden the server configuration and protect the server with a firewall and encryption. That keeps the openings created by outdated software closed.
Backups
Your data is backed up regularly, and we test the backups so that recovery actually works when it matters. If a file is deleted by accident, we restore it from the backup.
Monitoring around the clock
Our 24/7 monitoring watches the availability and health of your server. If something fails, it raises an alert automatically within minutes, we start fixing it straight away and let you know as soon as everything is running again.
SSL certificates
Your website is reachable over encrypted HTTPS. We keep an eye on the validity of the SSL certificates in our monitoring so that visitors never see a browser warning.
Migrating existing websites
Already have a website with another provider? We first look at what you have, free of charge, and tell you honestly whether a migration is worth it. After that we move the website and its data without interrupting operation.
GDPR and data processing agreement
All data sits in the ISO 27001 certified data centre in Frankfurt am Main, under German law. No data goes to the USA or other third countries. We issue the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR so that your documentation is complete.
